Legion of Sorts!

To everyone who has been visiting this blog over the past five years, THANK YOU. Since I've been in China for the past year and a half, Blogger has been blocked and it makes it more and more difficult for me to update. I finally took the time to move over to Wordpress which is still available in China and so I've created a new blog with the same contributors plus many new ones. It will focus a bit on our daily skateboarding adventures in Shanghai but also include more about our many friends around the world; Brian in Canada, Danny in New Zealand, Tyler and the Haines St. Crew in Delaware and much more!

Here is my NanoVISION of my trip from Delaware to HongKong to ShenZhen to Shanghai over the course of a month. All filmed on the iPod Nano viddycam.

THROWBACK TUESDAY

We filmed this video back in 2005-2006 and I never finished editing it, thus the no titles. I think we were trying to film for a new Switch video which never happened and I just wanted to get the footage out there so I just put all the footage together to one song but never put it out. It's got footage from Ed the Shredder, Brian Peacock, Kyle Schroeder, Chipper, Bubba and others. I'm pretty psyched on it, I wish I used a different song though. There's a bunch of footage that no one's probably ever seen... like Bubba's crook?? That shit's like 6 years old at least.

Beijing Skatespot Numero Dos

This spot is so fucking good. It might truly, really really be the best spot I ever skated in my life. Too bad I only got to skate it for 5 minutes before we got kicked out by security. It's in a shopping center with no one who shops there. They should just turn it into a skate plaza, fuckers.

So last week I made a last minute decision to go to Beijing by train. It had been raining all week in SH and the forcast called for even more rain so I just said fuck it, I'm going to Beijing. Shit was tighhht. My friend Kent saw me to the train station and last minute decided he would roll up to Beijing too, with no change of clothes and only his skateboard, mp3, and cellphone. Fucking sickkk. Anyway, here are some flicks of the trip. We rolled into town at 6:30am and peeped Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City before we started skating for the day. Thanks to my homies Johnny and Nike SB for letting me crash the hotel rooms.

Did some sort of a promo clip/commercial for Adidas today for their upcoming Be Original 60th Anniversary Party coming up next month here in Shanghai. Apparently they've got 5 other GIANT Adidas shoes scattered throughout the world. Each one has its own commercial.
