The Wilmington Skate Project and Kinetic Skateboarding in conjunction with the Wilmington Grand Prix road bike race are hosting the first skate jam of spring. Featuring the DC Shoes high ollie contest raffles and prizes from DC, Expediton, Organika, and DGK. All proceeds benefit the Wilmington Skate Project!

Go Skateboarding Day (GSD), held on June 21, is the official holiday of skateboarding. The holiday began June 21, 2004 as an excuse for skateboarders to skip their obligations, go skateboarding and have fun! This year Kinetic and the Wilmington Skate Project are throwing a skate jam right above Rodney Square in Wilmington. Their will be skating, a best trick contest, refreshments and give aways.
